As usual, I love my NN kitties. This is made
for my niece-in-law in OR. She is a dog lover
but I think she will enjoy this fun birthday
card. I colored the images with Copic markers
and cut them out by hand this time. I sponged
some brown inks around the white panels
and stamped the sentiments in a brown too.
I used mounting tape to raise up some of
the images.

PIP Challenge 2536

  Welcome!
Time to join in the challenge with
Polkadoodles as this week's sponsor!!
YAY!
We REALLY appreciate our sponsors!

Here's my card for the challenge...

I used pre-colored Polkadoodles images,
that I added some additional Copic touches.
The PNG image was added to a digi paper
and printed out. I printed additional images
and the sentiment. A die cut was used for
the sentiment and I fancy cut the images
for layering and a 3D appearance.

The inside was a sentiment PNG added
to the same digi paper. Then one of the
flowers was cut out and raised up.

Here's my card for this week
using "Lotus Frame" and
I made this card for a sweet friend of mine.
She and I (and our spouses) have spent the past
12 years wintering in Florida. This year we
aren't going. I'll be toughing out the cold and
finding more time to create while home. Anyway,
I added the main image and sentiment PNGs
to a digital paper background. I printed
the image on white cardstock 2 more times
so I could use my Copics to color and
fussy cut them out. I raised the flowers with
mounting tape, the center flower 2x. I
found a butterfly embellishment and used
my Copic to match the colors.

This card was made for my beautiful,
critter-loving daughter's birthday.
The stamp set and dies, Backyard Bird Feeder,
are awesome and fun to work with, or I
should say, to play with! I didn't use the
LF platform pop-up because I didn't have it
with me so I used a different one but LF's is
great and always have a very helpful tutorial.
My images were stamped and colored
with my Copics. The grass die cut was from

Here's my card for this week
using "Easy Layering Florals 1" (sentiment)
I sure had a lot of anniversaries in the
summer and this is a biggie for a couple
of friends, Nancy and Mark, and we get to
celebrate with them next weekend. In fact,
Mark's birthday is on MY anniversary,
Aug. 19 (53 years). Busy month!
For this card I used some images I had
already stamped and cut out from
Varada. I colored the images with my
Copics to coordinate along side of the
background paper. The sentiment was
heat embossed in black on vellum and
attached with some mini black brads.
I used pop dots to raise up the main
leaf for dimension. The "5, 0" were
die cuts and added to the front.
For the inside I used a couple of scrap
strips from the front and added them
and an extra leaf to the inside. The
sentiment was from a random set on
hand. I like how it turned out and
with a couple of gift cards added to
the inside it should be a hit!

Formerly, Penguin Palace, now
It's always fun getting to find new stuff
and a great sponsor as well! YAY!
Go shop at Sunbird Spark for some
awesome new stuff! I know I did! lol!
They've added plenty as well!
Here's my card for the challenge...
As always, I had fun "playing" with
my digis from Sunbird Spark. I have
some of their stamps too but this week
I opted for this fun digi set,
Cruising on the Ocean. What's really
nice is that it comes with Bonus images
all ready to be printed on an A2 size
card. I printed out the images and
colored them using Copics. For the
background I decided to play around
with my Pan Pastel Chalks. A wavy
stencil created the water looks. I used
a light hairspray to set the chalks.
When I finished coloring the images
I cut them out. A slit was cut below the
lighthouse so I could insert part of
the lighthouse. Mounting tape was
used to add the main sentiment, one
cloud and the boat and bear.
I added the long, wavy birthday sentiment
from a stamp set I had on hand.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see
your entries in the Current Challenge.

Here my card for this challenge...
As always, The Cutting Cafe is great for
stretching my creativity. All I needed
was a printer and some scissors to get
going. I used The Acorn Shaped Card and
this super fun card. I printed the design
onto pattern papers and cut everything out.
I used plain white cardstock for the base.
The bottom of the acorn I used an
embossing folder. (Probably should have
done it to the cap of the acorn instead,
but...oh well, LOL) I used a leaf diecut
I had for the green pattern paper. I
attached on to the front and one inside.
I printed the sentiments on cardstock
and attached them. Some coordinating
twine was used for the bow holding
the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Everything was cut out with scissors,
except the leaf. Goes to show you
don't need every tool available, although,
I love my tools. hehe. Thanks to
